The Towels by GUS project was a wonderful challenge. From the outset, our clients had a strong idea of a somewhat unique browsing experience.

Central to this is the browse by colour flow in that it enables shopppers to browse for towels in a more natural way than merely through a series of (often unintuitive) lists and menus.

It had it's challenges and requires us to push Shopify to (and beyond) its limits in terms of built-in functionality with nested collections (to create the effect of parent and child categories). But we made it work and we're really happy with the results.

The site was designed, developed and built from the ground up by our team with some excellent planning and wireframing input from the Great Useful Stuff team.
